Previous Review: Just went for lunch with some co workers and waited an hour for food, had to end up leaving to go back to work. It wasnt busy but there were alot of tables without food :( Current Review: Taco Boy reached out and definitely made up for the situation last week, thank you for the professional and kind solution. Delicious food!

Excellent margaritas! They hand squeeze the juice so they don’t have that overly sweet, artificial taste some margaritas have. The food is excellent too. Some reviews say it’s pricey but for the portion size I think they’re reasonably priced. The service was great and we love the bar area. Half of the bar seating is indoors and half is outside.

Had a good experience at Taco Boy LoSo in Charlotte, North Carolina. They had a pretty great food and drink menu. The chips and salsa were delicious. They were definitely homemade and fresh. They had a lot of different options for food. We had the queso fries, the chicken quesadilla and I got a few different tacos. My friend also got a few tacos. Everything was really delicious and well seasoned. They had some standard tacos, but then they had other things like a hotdog taco. I thought the fries were really good. The queso was delicious and they were pretty crispy. We also ordered Tres Leches and churros for dessert. Both were very good. The drinks were fantastic. We got a bunch of margaritas on the rocks. They were strong and very well flavored. The only slight negative was the service. We sort of sat between inside and outside and the waitress was rushing us. We found out it was her last day. The icing on the cake was I ordered two desserts for my friend because it was her birthday. I asked for her to put a candle on one of them and one of the desserts came out while my friend was in the bathroom. My friend came back and the server asked if I should bring the cake with the candle now. I guess she didn’t give a F since it was her last day. My friend and I thought it was funny at least. Would definitely go back.

We were invited to a pre-opening night for friends & family, and were encouraged to try out the entire menu. Between the five of us we sampled a good bit. We began with chips 'n queso which were crisp and light but a shade too salty and flavored margaritas, like dragon fruit, spicy and mango, which were smaller than those similarly priced elsewhere. The appetizers were a great hit. We were delighted with the refreshing Ceviche with lowcountry snapper, tomatillos, avocados, and pistachio. And then the Esquites blew our minds. The mix of off-the-cob pan roasted corn with chipotle aioli, and queso fresco was sooo good! Everyone raved about the light, clean broth & shredded chicken in the Tortilla Soup and its beautiful presentation. Ironically, we agreed all the tacos we tried generally were mild tasting and unimpressive. We ended on a high note though with everyone singing praises for the warm, lightly sweetened Churros and the milky moist Tres Leches, especially it's brandy cream sauce. Great outside dining and cozy U-shape booths indoors.

Our first time trying and was definitely satisfied. Along with the food, the vibe, the atmosphere, and the staff (Especially Lee) was amazing!!! The location is also great, if you’re not lucky enough to get a parking spot in one of the immediate spaces, they offer validation if you have to park in the garage adjacent to the restaurant. Also on mondays wings are half priced and I definitely recommend the dry rub and Elote. The Mexican street corn dip was some of the best dip I’ve ever had

Grabbed a drink and food to go. The bar staff was great and the food came out fast. Definitely recommend and will go back.

The whole experience is great here! Juliet greeted me at the door with the warmest smile you immediately feel welcomed! The crowd is lively, the food is delicious, the aesthetic is sleek yet vibrant! This is a great addition to the area. The drinks are great get the Cadillac margarita!!! The guac is super fresh and filling. I will definitely return and finally a concept that knows how to salt a chip to satisfaction! 5 star service as well ask for Andres or Adriana love them!! All servers and staff are great and they really believe in team service any and everyone checks on you! I love the Folley Beach location and this one doesn’t disappoint!!!!

Was invited to try out the new Mexican joint in town and could not have been more thrilled! Fantastic beer selection and my wife's hibiscus margarita was phenomenal. Our server Ellen was very attentive and kept our plates moving at our pace. El Pastor quesadilla and the mocajete carnitas are not to be missed. House-made tortillas and chips - for real? Awesome. Will definitely return soon.
